it was a whirlwind trip! dustin got off our ten hour flight saturday afternoon in houston and hopped into the car, only to drive three hours to san antonio for etouffee at the o'briens house that night! we got there at about 9pm and enjoyed dessert and good company. we also got to spend sunday morning with dustin's parents sharing stories about our trip and devouring homemade breakfast tacos! what are we going to do without them in scotland? dustin and i went to lunch at the hyatt hill country resort with my family where we ate to our heart's content and were stalked by creepy easter bunnies. we had a great time with lots of laughs and tasty treats...gotta love the dessert buffet. :) we are back in the swing of things - finally - now that we've done about six loads of laundry. rex has been sleeping constantly...i think his ferris bueller's day off in san antonio has finally caught up with him! spring is in full bloom here in houston and this phenomenon amazes me every year. a beautiful time in the sweaty city! go here for the rest of our easter pics.
