austin-bound!

a very quick update, as we are about to leave for a wedding in lithuania tonight....we are moving to austin!

dustin accepted an offer from silicon labs in austin friday evening and he will be starting work october 18th!  i am incredibly proud of him and know that the interview process (read: skype at 9pm sitting on the floor of our bedroom) was an exhausting one. 

also on friday (yes, it was quite an eventful day!) rex made the big transatlantic journey back to texas!  he got through customs without any trouble and is happily at the wienecke's house and surely enjoying the sunshine and attention.  it is such a relief to know he is home safely and without threat of quarantine.

yesterday we booked our flights home and will be returning via houston on october 8th.  i can already smell chuy's.  :)  also yesterday we decided on a place to live (thanks to matty and katy for rushing over and checking the place out!) and will be moving into barton hills apartments, right in the center of town ,on october 15th!  it will be just a 10-minute cycle to dustin's work and right on the 30 bus route...and walking dustin to chuy's, of course.

we are feeling truly blessed and are saying continued prayers for a safe return and that i might find a job upon return.
